Peter Kirstein (UCL) presented the SAP security draft. Steve Deering suggested that IPsec could potentially be used for this purpose, it cannot since this would not permit the simple encapsulation of SDP payloads from email systems into SAP. In addition, IPsec still suffers from potential export problems, and it was accepted that the present version should continue.
