The group plans to write an informational RFC by October 1997. This should
describe the current status of PSTN/Internet interworking. After that, the
group will:
- Identify the protocol framework (study SIP)
- Interim meeting
- Start drafting
- Identify the service
- Define a MIB
Some further discussion of the aims and scope of the group followed. Care
must be taken to ensure that it does not conflict with the AVT and MMUSIC
working groups.
